  1. We’re Rome and we don’t even know it. Political corruption. Class warfare. Economic crisis. Threats from the outside. By the time this all becomes so obvious that even our dim witted leaders can see it will be too late. It’s probably too late already.

  2. My favorite fact is when romes empire was shrinking they took all there knowledge with them leaving with buildings they couldnt maintain or replicate for over 500 years after. The dark ages are skimmed in most history but imagine living in a mud hut in london when the city is made of cut rock and marble.
