As to overall fit, we find these boots are quite normal, I’d say D width, or “medium”.
We tried these boots on for comparison to REV’IT!’s size chart(s) and also to compare to the fit of other boots. We found the size chart conversion provided by REV’IT to be accurate, so use the chart to choose a European size based upon your US street shoe size.
The new REVIT Taylor shoes are a lightweight and sharp new style of riding shoe. They offered concealed protectors in the ankle area and reinforcements in the toe and heel area.
Wow, it looks like somebody at the REVIT factory snatched a bunch of materials from the jacket department and made a pair of shoes! The nylon materials look exactly like those used in the Cayenne Pro jacket (and others). And the balance of the upper material are two tones of suede leather.
Even though you can’t see them, there are large circular discs of plastic over the ankle bones which gives some nice protection in that area. The heel and the toe box are both reinforced too. The soles have stiffeners in the arch but they are more like sneaker soles rather than motorcycle boot soles. They are made mostly for comfort off the bike I think.

Like the other models from our urban shoe collection, we incorporated invisible protection at key points to make the Taylor motorcycle ready. Both the heel and toe area house a thermoformed cap, while the ankle received an injected ankle cap on both sides. Thanks to the anatomically shaped foot bed the Taylor shoes feel like a casual sneaker when walking, while offering the comfort and protection that is desired from a true motorcycle shoe.

Material
Revit have made this sneaker using a variety of high-quality materials. The collar, heel, front of the toe, and the area around the laces are made of full grain soft cowhide leather to give you not only strong abrasion resistance but it’ll also make sure the shoes don’t rip. Following behind the suede in the toe and side of the shoe you’ve got leather suede, which will also give some abrasion resistance as well as a good level of grip. Lastly, the rest of the shoe along the sides and the tongue is made of ventilating Dynax mesh. Dynax mesh is made of special polyamide yarns which will give tear and abrasion resistance without compromising on strong ventilation throughout the shoe.
Protection
For protection, the Rev’It Taylor shoes also don’t skimp out, especially considering the heel and toe area house a thermoformed insert each. Starting at the front, the toes house a thermoformed cap. In the heel you have another thermoformed plastic reinforcement to keep your foot protected and in the correct place when wearing the shoes. The fact that Revit have gone with thermoformed reinforcements is also great because it means it will have a more defined shape within the shoe and you shouldn’t feel it while wearing them. Lastly, the ankle received an injected ankle cap on both sides to keep them safe.
Comfort
The Revit Tayler shoes also won’t let you down for comfort thanks to an anatomically shaped foot bed, the Taylor shoes feel like a casual sneaker when walking. While the shoe does well for ventilation, it is still partially made of leather so it will take a little more time before it will fully break in. In terms of lacing, Revit have added a gusseted tongue to more effectively keep the elements out. However, once you get to the top of the ankle for the laces, you lose the nice large holes that you had further down the shoe, which does make taking them on and off a bit more difficult. The last thing to mention with these shoes is the definitely run narrower, so that is something to be aware of.
