I have recently bought a Phillips Hue GU10 starter kit and I am keen to get some kind of LED strips to accompany these bulbs.
Do I purchase the Phillips Hue LightStrip Plus or go for a cheaper alternative?

Ive got a Ikea bridge and a lot of Ikea lamp. Wanted to add a ledstrip and philips hue have does (ikea not), so bought the philips hue ledstrip!
I linked all up on the ikea bridge, works fine on the ikea app, i can on/off, change color, great, not one problem here so far!
But now im trying true the google app and it only gives me 6 basic colors to choose from (from white to warm light, no real colors)?
Why not all colors? What did i do wrong and what can i do to fix it..? i have no google assistant in that room connected, can this resolve the issue?
Do you know if it work with the hue sync box ?
What If we dont have the plug in and just the strip could u still get it to work?
Is it possible to have a kind of echo mode?

Don't buy this product. The double sided tape is the worse. It does not stick to the light strip. When you pull the side off to stick to the wall it pulls away from the light strip and you loose the tape. It falls off wherever you sticking it. Plus you need a hub for this. Nowhere when I was researching did it say you need a hub to connect. It was a waste of money for me.
Does the led strip memorize the settings if pulled out of the outlet? I want to use the led strip in a wallceiling lamp that is turned on/off by a switch
