Concert Survival Checklist
We know that it can be a struggle trying to remember what you need to pack in prep for concerts, we’ve definitely been there before!
To solve that problem, we’ve come up with a simple checklist of basic necessities for ARMYs to use. We hope that, whenever there is a BTS concert, this may help you.
Please note this checklist is generic for all possible venues.
Here’s A List Of 15 Items To Pack For A BTS Concert
With BTS starting their world tour in a few months, fans are slowly starting to gear up for the show by preparing themselves with what to pack for the event. Let’s take a few moments to find out what items are essential when attending a BTS concert!
1. Backpack/hip sack
In order to have your hands free, it’s important to use a small backpack or hip sack so that you can utilize your hands for photo taking and shaking your ARMY bomb. Some stadiums require clear bags so it might be wise to prepare a small clear bag for your show!
2. Ticket/ARMY Membership
Your ticket is the most important thing to remember because this will grant you access into the show! For some shows, like ones in Korea, you may be required to present your ARMY membership card as well.
3. Portable Battery Charger
It is crucial to enter the event with a 100% charged phone. But because you will be taking a lot of videos and photos, make sure to have a portable charger at hand too!
4. Wallet with cash and card
You might arrive early and eat lunch or dinner before the show so it’s always good to have some money with you. Bring some cash and a card just in case you want to buy some merchandise being sold before the show.
5. ARMY Bomb
What’s a BTS concert without the ARMY bomb? We must be prepared to shake our bombs and show our love to the boys on stage!
6. Extra batteries
You never know what can happen! If your ARMY bomb runs out, you will be prepared!
7. Cosmetics
It’s a good idea to have a few essentials for touch ups such as lip balm, lip tint, compact mirror, hand cream, etc.
8. Water bottle
No matter what season it is, it’s going to get hot with all the people at the show. Having some water on hand can save you from dehydration. Be sure to drink a little at a time though because you don’t want to miss out on anything by going to the bathroom.
9. Snacks
You’re bound to use up a lot of energy so it’s good to prepare a few small snacks or candy to give you a bit of boost throughout the show.
10. Dental hygiene
If you eat before the show, it may be wise to brush your teeth or use a bit of mouth wash or gum before the show out of respect for others around you.
11. Emergency medication
You never know when you might get a headache or hurt yourself! Be sure to have some meds and band-aids on hand!
12. Mask (optional)
Depending on the show, it could be held outdoors so just as a safety precaution it might be a good idea to pack a mask just in case!
13. Comfortable shoes
Comfortable shoes are a must regardless of if it’s a standing show or not because you are bound to be standing in long lines before the show.
14. Slogan/pickets
Bringing your own slogans and pickets to support the boys are always welcome. Be careful not to block someone else’s view while holding them up though!
15. Tissues
Bring some tissues because you never know when the boys are gonna make you cry with their speeches at the end!

What to Pack for a BTS Concert During COVID
Almost two years after we bought tickets for the Map of the Soul: 7 tour, we finally got to see BTS in Los Angeles as part of their four-date Permission to Dance: On Stage concert series! Now, we’re heading to Las Vegas! All of the concerts we’ve attended in the past were pre-pandemic, so this upcoming adventure left us wondering what to pack for a BTS concert during COVID.
It’ll take a flight, rental car, and an overnight stay to see our boys again, but it’s worth it! Plus, we’re huge fans of Las Vegas. Whether it’s a girls’ trip, a romantic getaway, or just all the great food, we love that city! Still, we’re hoping we can finally get to Seoul after our trip was canceled almost two years ago!
We’ve done our research, and we’re going to share our plan with you! If you’re regular readers, you already know that several people in our household live with underlying medical conditions plus two of us have obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). This, of course, has led us to take this pandemic very seriously. We understand that not everyone is going to take the preventive measures that we consider essential, so take whatever you need from this post and leave the rest!

BTS Concert Packing List
We could not be more excited to be packing our bags for a BTS concert! Seriously, not being able to go to Japan and Seoul last year was definitely heartbreaking. We see that Japan is starting to open up its borders, though, so we’re hopeful that our relocation can get back on track. In the meantime, we’ve got this trip to look forward to!
For the plane
They are keeping airplanes cleaner than they used to, which is great. It doesn’t hurt, though, to wipe everything down yourself and keep your hands clean. You don’t want to catch something that can jeopardize your concert plans (and potentially put others at risk)!
For the hotel
We know that some hotels have added extra cleaning protocols to keep guests safer during the pandemic. If you have underlying health conditions or risk factors, fellow ARMIES, please take extra steps to protect yourself. Be sure to read our guide to cleaning and sanitizing hotel rooms.
Clothing
Guys, this is YOUR CHANCE! Be as fun and creative (and silly!) as you want to be! Just look at Josh’s crazy outfit for PTD Las Vegas! We absolutely love it, and we don’t care what anyone thinks. We’re dressing to celebrate!
If you’re going to an outdoor concert at night during the winter months, you might get cold if you don’t dress appropriately. Yes, we know you want to look super cute but you’ll still be adorable even if you’re warm! It’s a good idea to wear layers so that you can add or remove things as needed.
In Your Concert bag
Every stadium has its own rules, so please, please get familiar with them before you head to the concert. We’ll be at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California this time around, and they have a whole “BTS at SoFi Stadium Know Before You Go” section of their website.

Sightseeing in Las Vegas
We have seen that the City of Las Vegas will be turning purple for BTS. Details haven’t been released yet, but we’ve put together a quick guide that will be updated when more information is available. Here’s what we know:
11 hotels will offer BTS-themed rooms
BTS drinks will be served at a café
Fountains of Bellagio seems to be going purple
There will be a photography exhibition
MERCH booths and a pop up are coming!!!
Of course, there’s just a lot to see and do in Las Vegas. I’m kind of shocked that we’ve only written about it twice! To be fair, our last trip was at the very beginning of the pandemic and I didn’t feel like writing much those days. Maybe I should put some quick posts together!
Sightseeing In Koreatown/Little Tokyo
While we’re in Los Angeles, we’re going to take the opportunity to do some quick shopping. We’ve got an Asian market here in Boise, and I love it, but there are many things that I can’t find. I’m literally taking an extra suitcase just so I can bring stuff home. Yes, we also do a lot of shopping at online Asian grocery stores, but it’s not the same.
What’s on our list? We want to grab some tteokbokki, cheese corn dogs, and fried chicken at the food stalls, and then check out H-Mart for snacks and cooking staples like doenjang, gochujang, and specialty ramen that I’m not able to find anywhere (fingers crossed!). We’re also just looking to browse through the popular shopping areas and stop at the local shrine to drop off my omamori charms since I can’t get to Japan.
We won’t have a ton of time before the concert because we want to get there early enough to grab merch as soon as the doors open. If you’re driving, be sure to review your venue’s parking and transportation guidelines (these are the ones for SoFi) so you won’t be scrambling on the day of the concert. Be as prepared as possible and expect the unexpected. Then, just let yourself be excited about seeing BTS after all this time! If I learn anything on this trip, I’ll come back and update the post.

BTS members were also seen wearing denim jackets on for Permission to Dance’s music video and nailed it with hats, boots and shades.
