If you become Jaehyun’s girlfriend, then I can tell you that you just sign up for a crazy-ass ride, girl… But that is obvious for you if you ever dug deeper into his personality and don’t just blindly believe the perfect prince-like image SM has given him. His looks are flawless (everybody knows that), but his behavior and personality can be quite questioning at times, putting you into big challenges through your relationship.
First, I want to say, that you have to be extra if he laid his eyes on you and you caught his attention so much, that he decided to ask you out. I don’t want to sound too harsh, but Jaehyun is not that type of guy who would notice someone “normal” – blunt personality, average looks, and not really gifted in any sort of way – because he is surrounded by dozens of people every day and also has high standards for his partner, so meeting that mediocre town girl is nothing special for him.
He would be straight-forward, as he would be scared that someone’s mind takes you away from him before he will have the chance to approach you, but still romantic in asking you out. You present yourself as a goddess and so he will treat you like one because he is really proud of himself for making you feel in the same way as he does. With this being said, expect fancy dates – expensive restaurants/clubs, spontaneous dates to hotels outside Seoul, concerts of known artists, and of course, huge shopping sprees at the end of these.
I quite cringe while writing this following phrase, but he is kind of like a “sugar daddy” for you, spending his money to pamper you with high-end clothing, perfumes, salons, whatever you just badly need or he thinks will suit you amazingly. He highly respects females who can be women and not girls, so supporting you in looking like one (his one) is the minimum of what he wants to do for you – he won’t ask why you need to buy this and why you need to go to the hair salon again.
Because of how gorgeous you are, both look and personality-wise, he would get a little possessive over you in certain moments, even though he has his unbothered personality. It wouldn’t be something dramatic, like a whole tantrum as other members would do, but he would remind who is your boyfriend to you or to the person “challenging him” with slight touches (holding hands, wrapping his hand around your waist, or even little peck on the cheek) and sarcasm rooted in his brief words directed towards the person, that would indirectly say (“don’t stick the nose into my stuff”). Around members, I am confident enough to say that he would be completely okay, as he trusts both them and you, that however you interact, it is only in a friendly way.
He is romantic, everyone knows that, so for each and every one of your meetings (as you wouldn’t be able to see each other every day because of his work and your stuff too), he would come up with something cheesy, but so freakin’ loving and aesthetic that it would be just like from Pinterest – a bouquet of roses, a diner (ordered of course), huge but adorable stuffed animal, your favorite book, long love-filled cuddles, massage, hot bubble bath together, basically whatever you crave for. I mean, every single second spent with him is aesthetic = laying in the bed, and listening to Cigarettes after sex is a great example of it.
Arguing with him wouldn’t be that often, just because he doesn’t care about things as much as others, but if you two get into one, then oh my dear, it is going to be a nasty one. He is not adorable when pissed off, just like Johnny, and because you would be fighting about something serious, both of you might say things you didn’t mean to, but actually hurt the other one pretty badly. When I wrote this for Doyoung, I told you that you would sit down and talk things out after a maximum of a few days like mature human-beings, but both you and Jaehyun are stubborn idiots and I see you ignoring each other for weeks as putting together an honest apology is hard for him (not only because he would still have a feeling that he didn’t do anything wrong).
The main problem I see with Jaehyun is, that he can get tired of a person if they are no longer exciting for him – there can be another beautiful woman around him and he can get distracted more than he is supposed to as a taken man. That’s why you always need to be on top of your game and have a strong personality to remind him, that he has a girlfriend and you are the girlfriend (In fact, I think that this reminder would be a huge turn-on for him…).
He would introduce you to his parents but after several months of you dating after making sure that you are really on a level where it is needed to introduce each other to your parents. It would be a huge thing for him and especially his parents as he is the only child, so even his parents most likely have high standards for his partner. I see him settling down and starting a family later in his life – the middle or late thirties in fact – and even though he would be a sucker for a little girl (to be able to raise her into such a perfect woman like her mother is), he wouldn’t be disappointed with a boy too (as he would teach him all the nasty men stuff and be the proudest dad after seeing him dating and using the charisma, charms and romantic personality he has after his father).
