Jin:
The hospital door was pushed open, the two of you looked over as the six boys crept into the suite, Namjoon at the front, telling them all to be quiet. “Are we alright to come in?”
“Of course,” you smiled, watching them all stand around your bed, looking down at the baby girl in your arms.
Their smiles all grew, passing Jin the presents they’d bought, “she’s so cute, how have you both managed to make such a beautiful baby?” Jimin asked.
“She’s definitely got Y/N’s genes,” Jin chuckled, running his hand over the top of her head, “I’ve noticed she’s got my eyes though, so that’s one good thing.”
“Can you believe your parents?” Taehyung questioned.
Both of you shook your heads giggling at each other, “it will feel real in a few days, but right now it just feels like a bit of a dream.”
“I’m just feeling like a very lucky guy right now,” he chuckled, pressing a kiss to the top of your head, “I’ve got my two favourite girls- “
“-and six favourite guys!”
“Yes, Hobi, I’ve got everything I need.”
Yoongi:
You pulled up outside your home, erupting into laughter when you saw the boys all stood around your home, decorated with blue balloons and banners. “Welcome home Y/S/N!”
“You guys are crazy,” you chuckled, grabbing the carrier out of the car, walking to the front door where the boys waited.
They were all racing to get the first glimpse of your boy. “He’s so adorable and small, I’ve never seen such a small human before,” Jin chuckled, looking at you.
“I can’t believe that small baby came from your bump,” Hobi exclaimed, earning himself a light hit on the arm from Jungkook. “What? I didn’t do anything.”
“Ignore him, how are you feeling Y/N?” Jungkook asked you.
You nodded, standing back so Yoongi could let everyone in. “I’m getting there, still a bit tired and sore, but he was most definitely worth it all.”
“We’re here now to help take the weight off your feet,” Namjoon smiled, “I bet the two of you haven’t stopped since he was born.”
“We really don’t mind.”
“His uncles are here for him now.”
Hoseok:
He walked back into the room; the boys all followed behind having just arrived at the hospital. “Peace is shattered,” he teased as they piled in to see the two of you.
“It’s a girl,” Jimin cooed, covering his mouth with her hands, “I can’t believe how gorgeous she is guys, congratulations.”
Hobi took her from you, cradling her closely. “So, which of you is going to be the first to hold her?” He asked them, watching their eyes all light up.
“We should go in age,” Jin smugly suggested, holding his arms out, “which by sheer coincidence makes me the lucky one who gets to hold her first.”
“I don’t want to be last,” Jungkook groaned, folding his arms.
You giggled, shaking your head, “she’s not going anywhere Kook, you’ve got years of cuddles to get out of her yet, you’ll tire of her soon.”
“Absolutely no way,” he assured you, “I’m going to try and be her favourite uncle, even if I’ve got these losers for competition.”
“I’ll be her favourite actually.”
“Now look what you’ve gone and started Kook.”
Namjoon:
The door opened, the boys tumbled into the room as they did so, their arms were filled with gifts for the two of you and your son. “Now, we hope this isn’t too much for you all.”
“What did you?” Cards, balloons, teddies and chocolates filled the room as the boys all proudly stared at you both.
You were completely overwhelmed as you looked around the room, “we wanted to give you guys some things to celebrate Y/S/N’s birth.”
“You boys didn’t have to do all of this for us, what are we going to do with it all?” Namjoon questioned, smiling appreciatively at them all.
“It’s not for you, its for Y/S/N,” Hobi scolded you.
You chuckled, grabbing one of the boxes of chocolates, “well it’s a shame our son can’t eat chocolate just yet, so I guess I’ll enjoy these instead.”
“And I’m the father, so I think I deserve chocolate too,” Namjoon giggled, reaching across the box to grab one for himself too.”
“What about introducing your son?”
“Oh, yeah, guys this is Y/S/N, your nephew.”
Jimin:
The boys were silent as they came into your suite, peering across the cot to get their first glimpse of your daughter who slept peacefully. “She’s been so excited to meet you all.”
“Y/N, she’s a day old, don’t lie to us,” Jin chuckled, shaking his head at you, “she has no idea who we are at all.”
Jimin chuckled, lifting your daughter out from the cot, “Uncle Jin thinks you’re stupid, that’s not very nice of him is it, you’re smart because you’re mine.”
“I don’t think that’s how it works,” Namjoon added, “she’s your baby so I don’t think intelligence is her strong point, dancing maybe, she’ll nail that.”
“He’s already told me she’s going to be a dancer,” you told him.
Namjoon’s eyes rolled, whilst Jungkook nudged Jimin’s hips, “you can’t force her into being a dancer if she doesn’t want to, remember that.”
“I know, I’ve just been showing her a couple of moves, starting them early and all that,” he blushed, bouncing her up and down.”
“You’re going to stress her out.”
“She’ll be fine, and a super talented dancer too.”
Taehyung:
Your son was passed across to Taehyung, all the boys looked at him as he introduced him to them all. “Dare I ask who wants to be the first one to give him a cuddle?”
“His favourite uncle!” Jungkook shouted, stepping forwards, only for the rest of the boys to pull him straight back.
You chuckled, watching them all, “he won’t have a favourite uncle, he will love all of you the exact same, I will make sure of it.”
“But secretly I’ll be his favourite,” Jungkook teased, but you shook your head at him, “I know that he’ll like me best because I’m the cool one.”
“Is that what you think?” Namjoon asked with a frown.
Jungkook shoulders shrugged, looking to Tae. “Because of that I think Yoongi should hold him first, seeing as he’s not fighting for the top spot.”
“Ha!” He chuckled, taking him in his arms, “I’m the one who held him first, so I’ll be the first uncle that he liked.”
“Don’t you start Yoongi.”
“Don’t worry Y/N, I’m just the favourite that’s all.”
Jungkook:
A knock at the front door disturbed the three of you, Jungkook stood up to see who it was, smiling as the boys all greeted him. “They’re in the living room, but please be quiet when you go in.”
“Hey guys,” you smiled, watching their faces light up when they saw your daughter laid on the play mat she had.
They all sat around her, but kept a small distance, “she’s so tiny and adorable, and you’ve put her in a little bunny outfit too, I bet Jungkook loves that.”
“He was the one that bought it,” you chuckled, “he hates when she wears anything else, he’s become very protective already over her.”
“He’s been so excited,” Yoongi told you.
You smiled, as her eyes opened, looking around at them all. “Hi gorgeous girl, we’re your uncles, aren’t you such a beauty,” Taehyung cooed.
“I hope you boys haven’t been disrupting her,” Jungkook scolded as he walked into the room, “I knew you guys would be trouble when you arrived.”
“We didn’t do anything.”

Reactions Masterlist
Seokjin:
When Jin arrived at your apartment, your daughter was sleeping, giving him time to readjust at home and acclimatize with the situation. He’d been simmering up to this moment ever since he got the news that his daughter was born.
The sole fact that he couldn’t be there to witness it and be the one who welcomed her to this world had been heartbreaking. You could rely on his members cheering him on and comforting him though. And of course, despite being busy caring for a baby, you’d outdone yourself in bringing him comfort as well.
Jin and you had done FaceTime calls whenever he had a minute to spare, giving him the chance to at least virtually see his baby.
Jin had no idea what he was expecting when you carried your first-born in, but it was one of the happiest moments of his life. That was until you asked:
“Wanna hold her?”
“Yes.”
She was just staring at him at first. It was like looking into his own eyes, framed by a much cuter face than his own. The most beautiful face he’d ever seen because she also looked like you.
But then, seemingly out of nowhere, his cute little girl started crying and screaming her lungs out. She stretched her little arms out to you instead.
“Hey babygirl, don’t cry. It’s your dad.” you tried to calm her down, but it didn’t work. Eventually, Jin handed her over to you.
“She’s probably just hungry.” you told him, unable to imagine what he was thinking right now. His perplexed expression turned into a smile that couldn’t convince even the most unempathetic person.
“That’s alright. She doesn’t have to. I can’t blame her. I mean, she barely knows me.”
“Seokjin…”
“Would you just give me a minute, please?”
He didn’t want to cry in front of you two. He’d just returned home and there was no time to drag down the mood. So he fled into the bathroom.
He allowed himself to be weak there, to vent and to let some tears flow.
“Get a grip on yourself.” he repeated like a mantra, but it seemed impossible to relax. Naturally, there was nothing he wanted more in this world than his daughter to love him.
“Jinnie?”
Two arms slid around his waist. You rested your head on his shoulder as your eyes met in the mirror.
“Where did you leave her?”
“She fell asleep again. She’s just been sleepy. Don’t take it personally.”
“I doubt that.”
“Hey…” you pecked his cheek. “Wait for it. As soon as she’s properly awake, she’s not gonna get enough of you.”
He laid his arms on top of yours, holding on to his own little anchor.
“I hope you’re right.”
Namjoon:
Namjoon had no idea what he’d expected when coming home to you and your newborn son. The little boy was only a few days old, he couldn’t do much anyways. But Namjoon was still disappointed when there was simply no reaction to him when he first held him.
Disappointed was actually an understatement. He was heartbroken.
He’d dreamed of this moment for years and in all of the versions of this scenario, it was magical.
He thought his life would get a new meaning and purpose and from the very first day on, he and his son would be best buddies for life.
He tried his best to hide his resentment from you, but you loved him too much to oversee it.
Later that day, you were lying on your bed, the baby cuddled up and sleeping in between you two. He was facing his mom, of course, pressing his tiny hand against your chest.
“So, do you wanna tell me what’s wrong?” you whispered, careful not to wake the sleeping beauty.
Namjoon pouted, something he rarely did so it was serious.
“I just don’t think he likes me.”
You frowned.
“Joonie, that’s bullshit. He loves you.”
“No. I saw it in his eyes when I held him. He doesn’t even know who I am.”
His voice wasn’t louder than a mumble, but you still heard the crack in it.
“You’re irrational.”
He wasn’t in for a discussion. There was a masochistic side of him. It came out only to convince him and you of how bad of a boyfriend and father he was.
“Why did I ever leave you?”
You rolled your eyes and if it hadn’t been for a baby sleeping between you, you had made him forget about his self-criticism with a long, deep kiss.
“Because you’re a responsible, successful young man. And that is veeeery sexy.”
“Okay, but…”
“No buts, Joonie. You couldn’t know that your little one’s planning to enter this world earlier than expected.”
Of course that was true. But it didn’t change the fact that he regretted leaving you at all.
“Yes but I wanted to be the first one to welcome him.”
“I understand. But it’s not like he will remember. What counts is what comes next.”
“But what if…” He wanted to protest again, but then your baby rolled around and the little hand wandered to rest on Namjoon’s chest.
The sunny expression that spread on Namjoon’s features was the most beautiful you’d ever seen. His dimples were a tat deeper than usual and there were little happy wrinkles around his eyes.
Hoseok:
After you gave birth, your family was there for you. Hobi had been away on tour but he was glad that you weren’t alone. It also wasn’t much of a problem that your family was still at your place when he came home.
He was so excited to see you and your newborn son, it didn’t matter if you were alone or with others.
Your mom was the one bringing in the baby as soon as he’d said hi to you. And as soon as Hobi held him in his arms, his heart was about to explode. The only imperfect flaw about this moment was that his son didn’t reflect the same joy as his father. In fact, he looked quite skeptical of the man holding him.
“Hi, nice to meet you. I’ve missed youuuu. I love you sooo much.” It was simply adorable seeing Hobi try to win his son’s heart, but the tiny wrinkles on the little man’s forehead didn’t falter.
“Hoseok,” your mother interrupted him. “You should stop. You scare him.” Ignoring Hobi’s shocked expression, the older woman he respected so much took the baby and walked into the next room.
You didn’t think she meant to hurt him, but his face mirrored brokenness and that teared on your heartstrings.
Without another word, you hurried to enfold your arms around him, putting his head on your shoulder so he could let it out.
“Hobi. She didn’t mean it like that.” you murmured while he tightly hugged you back in desperation.
“It’s not so much what she said. It’s me.”
You broke the hug to frame his face with your hands.
“How do you mean that?”
His fingers interlaced with yours, sliding down to swing in the air between you. He looked more guilty than you had ever seen him.
“I hate myself for not being there for you.”
“Hobi-”
“No, Y/n, please let me talk.”
Although it broke your heart to hear him talking himself down, you listened.
“You had to do all of this on your own and now my son is scared of me.”
“He’s not scared of you. He just doesn’t know who you are yet.”
“That makes it even worse.”
The way his voice became quieter and more titchy with every word ached you to your core. Back when you started your relationship, you had made it your life mission to wipe those worries off Hobi’s features whenever they occurred.
“Hey. Did I ever blame you for working? Have I ever been mad?”
“No, but it’s different this time. I wouldn’t blame you.”
“Hobi”, you breathed and placed a feathery kiss on his lips, “I love you for being you. And for doing what you love doing. I knew that traveling is part of your life when I got into this relationship and I never regretted it. Your son will feel the same way.”
That was the beautiful thing about your relationship. While he was the hope for so many people in this world, you were his. And this was one of the moments when he realized it again.
Yoongi:
You’d been trying to motivate your baby daughter to react to Yoongi for over 20 minutes since he’d come back from the tour. Unforeseeable circumstances had caused him to stay out of the country for longer than he had planned, forcing him to miss the birth of his first daughter.
All she had ever seen of him were photos and his face on a phone over facetime calls. Still, Yoongi had hoped for her to at least grant him a smile or any kind of reaction. Ironically, being the daughter of her father, your baby girl was already quite good at not showing any kind of emotion in her little face.
“It’s okay, give her time.”
Yoongi had always been the best at keeping a straight face, even when he was deeply hurt. But knowing him as well as you did, from the way he averted his gaze and started picking his nails, you could see that self-criticism and angst were clouding his mind.
“I can read your mind, Min Yoongi. Please stop it.”
He looked up, eyes traveling anywhere but never settling on you like a lost puppy.
“Stop what?”
You huffed.
“Right now you’re asking yourself if she’ll ever form a real relationship with you just because you weren’t there when she was born.”
“I mean…”
The fact that he didn’t deny it revealed that you were right.
“She’s only a few weeks old, Yoongi. All she really does is sleep, poo and be cute. She probably doesn’t even know who I am sometimes.”
“I’m sure this is not true.”
“We’ll never know.”
A groan rolled out his throat at your undefyable persistence.
“Anyways, I feel like I’ve missed out on so much these first few weeks.”
You knew you didn’t have to sugarcoat it. He did miss out on some things. But it wasn’t really his fault and in the end, he couldn’t turn back time now.
“Maybe.” Yoongi knew it was true but hearing you confirm it made him feel worse. He felt something tickling his nose and a slight burn in his eyes.
“But you’re here now. And that’s what counts, Yoongs. You’ll be here for the first words, first steps, first day of school, first heartbreak. You’re not gonna miss any of that.”
Yoongi frowned, looking genuinely distressed.
“I’m really not looking forward to puberty.”
“Yoongs, that’s like 13 to 14 years from now.”
“Yeah but like… parties and lovers… You have to promise me to not let me become an overprotective dad.”
And then, unexpectedly and as though she had understood, your daughter blurted out a squeaky laugh. Yoongi’s face lightened up, transforming into an ear to ear grin when you handed her over for him to hold her.
“Heyyy, are you making fun of me?”
“That’s already a promising start to your relationship.” You joked, clearly referencing his irrational fears, but Yoongi didn’t really hear you anymore. He only had eyes for his little bundle of happiness.
Jungkook:
You were already ready at the door when you heard Jungkook turn the key. You had dressed your baby girl in a cute playsuit. She rested on your arms, curiously watching who’d be entering her new home.
Jungkook’s eyes gleamed with tears of joy when he saw you. He didn’t know where to look and whom to kiss first. Bam came to take the decision from him. He jumped up on his owner, literally tackling him down to the floor and tried to lick his face.
“Heyyy, yah I’ve missed you too, but stop. Good boy.” He carefully heaved the dog off his chest and cleaned himself up to come and greet you.
“Hi!” he just said with the brightest smile ever. The kiss that followed was one of the sorts that you loved the most. Whenever he came back after some time, his kisses felt deeper and more tender than usual, like he would put all of his longing into this reunion of your lips.
“And who do we have here?”
His voice went up one octave when he addressed the little girl on your arm. He stroked her cheek as her eyes filled with tears.
“Hey what’s wrong?”
And then she started weeping with full force. Jungkook yielded away, petrified by the shock.
“Sweetie, what’s wrong? That’s just your daddy.” you tried to soothe her, but it didn’t help. Additionally, you also had your sclerotic boyfriend to take care of.
“Are you alright?” you asked him while rocking the baby in your arms.
Jungkook nodded but he wasn’t able to speak. There was a big knot forming in his throat and you could see the tears of joy slowly giving way to other kinds of tears.
“Hey, Koo.” you addressed him softly. Trying to hug him, you forgot about the baby in your arms and her little plushie bunny was slipping your grip.
“Oh, wait, hold her for a sec.” Without realizing that you probably overwhelmed him, you handed your girl to Jungkook to pick up the plushie. To his own surprise, the crying stopped as soon as he held her, and she was only watching him with big baby eyes again. Eventually, she grabbed one of his fingers with her tiny hand.
A chuckle escaped Jungkook’s mouth, relieved that she now seemed to accept him.
“Maybe she just wanted to be close to you.” You said with a smile.
“I’m still sure she has no idea who I am to her.” he responded, not regretful at all though. He was just happy to hold her.
“I don’t know. I showed her your picture every day and told her that you’re her dad.”
“Really?”
“Of course.”
A content look glow surrounded him as he sat down on the couch with her in his arms. You and Bam joined them.
“Are you happy now?”
“Couldn’t be happier.” Jungkook confirmed. He held her for the rest of the night and there was not a single moment where any of them looked away from the other one’s face.
Jimin:
As soon as you had put your son to bed, Jimin slumped down on yours.
Your little reunion didn’t go well. At least in Jimin’s impression.
Jimin wasn’t even able to hold him without him starting to cry. No matter how sweetly the young father talked to him or how carefully he tried to get closer, your baby boy just didn’t allow it.
You put the baby phone next to Jimin and joined him on the bed, feeling yourself becoming drowsy as soon as your body met the invitingly soft mattress.
“Why doesn’t he like me?”
“I mean, you can’t blame him. You weren’t there.”
You became the writer of your own fate because of this remark. What was meant to be only a sarcastic comment sounded like the worst offense in Jimin’s ears.
“This sounds like an accusation.”
“It isn’t. It’s just a fact.”
He stood up and walked around, clearly upset. Later he would realize that it was more because of himself than you.
“I really didn’t come home to have my son rejecting me and my wife giving me a hard time for working like I always have.”
The mood was getting heated, in a bad way, but maybe it was the actual yearning for each other’s closeness and the will to finally be a family that had bottled up and made you two overly thin-skinned.
“I’m not giving you a hard time, Jimin. But if you’re asking – Of course I would have preferred you here. Do you think giving birth to my first-born when my husband is traveling around the world is easy? Everything hurt, I was full of hormones and I didn’t have you there to support me.”
Without meaning to, your voices had gotten louder than intended. When a slight noise rang from the baby phone, both of you held your breath, but eventually there was nothing else to hear.
It needed this little break for Jimin to reorganize his thoughts. He sighed and sat back down, hesitantly laying his hands in your lap.
“Did I ever say sorry?”
“That’s the thing. You don’t have to. I know you feel bad enough.”
“Yeah. I just wish I could show you both how much I regret not being here, but I’m scared that you don’t want to hear it. I mean, since our little boy already doesn’t like me…”
“Jimin, would you please stop worrying about this. You will just have to cuddle him for two hours and he will love you more than anything. The same way you won me over, by the way.”
You sounded exhausted, but Jimin could tell that those words came from your heart.
The baby phone lit up. As soon as you heard the cries, you buried your head in your hands.
“I’ll go and take care.”
“No, wait.” Jimin snatched your hand.
“Let me go. You’ve done so much. Rest a little, okay? I can manage.”
That was an offer you couldn’t resist.
“Okay, but wake me if you need help.”
